Making allergen-free treats for dogs involves using ingredients that are less likely to cause allergies. Here are some recipes that are simple, healthy, and safe for dogs with common allergies:



1. Pumpkin and Banana Dog Treats

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe banana

  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree (unsweetened)

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats (gluten-free if necessary)

  • 1 cup rice flour

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Mash the banana in a bowl.

  3. Add the pumpkin puree, rolled oats, and rice flour. Mix well until combined.

  4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into desired shapes.

  5. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the treats are firm.

  7. Let cool completely before serving.



2. Sweet Potato and Apple Dog Treats

Ingredients:

  • 1 sweet potato

  • 1 apple (cored and grated)

  • 1 egg

  • 1/2 cup coconut flour

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Cook the sweet potato until soft, then mash it.

  3. Mix the mashed sweet potato, grated apple, egg, and coconut flour in a bowl.

  4. Form the mixture into small balls or use a cookie cutter for shapes.

  5. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the treats are firm.

  7. Let cool completely before serving.


3. Coconut and Blueberry Dog Treats

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup coconut flour

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce

  • 1/2 cup blueberries

  • 1/4 cup coconut oil (melted)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Mix the coconut flour, applesauce, blueberries, and melted coconut oil in a bowl.

  3. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into desired shapes.

  4. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the treats are firm.

  6. Let cool completely before serving.


4. Carrot and Peanut Butter Dog Treats

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rice flour

  • 1/2 cup grated carrots

  • 1/4 cup natural peanut butter (make sure it does not contain xylitol)

  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Mix the rice flour, grated carrots, and peanut butter in a bowl.

  3. Gradually add water until the dough holds together.

  4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into desired shapes.

  5. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the treats are firm.

  7. Let cool completely before serving.
