Bloomfield Pet Care is a pet care company providing dog walking, pet-sitting and home care for a wide variety of pets and clients in Bloomfield Hills and surrounding cities. We are always reviewing applications for dependable, responsible, animal-loving, pet sitters for part-time work.

Job Requirements & Preferences

  • You must live in Bloomfield Hills or surrounding areas

  • You must pass a background check

  • Willing to commit to our company 12 months or longer

  • Have your own reliable car and are fully insured

  • Have a smartphone with the ability to download and use apps easily

  • Are good with people and have excellent communication skills

  • Must feel comfortable around ALL animals

  • Must be in good physical shape and comfortable with large dogs

  • Have the ability and desire to walk long distances in cold, hot or rainy temperatures

  • You must be dependable and able to work independently

  • You are willing to work at least two weekends a month

Preference will be given to sitters who...

  • Possess knowledge of dog and cat behavior and care

  • Have experience with pets; personal or professionally

  • Are available during holidays

  • Have a flexible schedule and are willing to accept last minute service request 

  • Are willing to stay overnight in client homes

  • Are creative and good at taking photos
