Meet The Owner
Founder & Owner of Bloomfield Pet Care
Meghan was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She founded Bloomfield Pet Care in 2012. She was motivated to start a professional pet care business so that families would not have to worry about their pets or homes while they were away.
She has been a pet owner for over 40 years and has been caring for animals as a pet sitter for over 25 years. She is a certified teacher and graduated from Michigan State in 1996. She has been married since 2000 and has three children, one dog and two cats.

This is why every pet sitter undergoes an extensive screening process which includes a background check. Our employees continue training while working for us as we encourage their skills to expand in order to provide high-quality care for your pets. Every employee is certified in Pet CPR and First Aid. They also have been certified in specific pet fields which have prepared them for any situation they may encounter with your fur-babies including wellness, using the proper equipment and emergency situations.
Rebecca has been with Bloomfield Pet Care since 2014. She quickly worked her way up and has been managing Bloomfield Pet Care for 7 years. She's also the creative behind the scenes. She gives pet owners and their companions the best care possible. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and two dogs, an Alaskan Klee Kai and a Pomsky.
Nicole has been with BPC since 2016. She is our animal whisperer. She is certified in Fear-Free for Vet Professionals. She has always held interest towards animal behavior and ecosystem dynamics. In college, she studied ecology and has always wanted to have a greater relationship with animals and the environment. She loves walking your pets throughout the seasons and getting to know their personalities.
Amy has been with Bloomfield Pet Care since 2017. She is certified in animal behavior and is a certified puppy trainer through the Karen Pryor Academy. Currently she has a dog named Templeton and a cat named Mallory. She is very active as a foster mom with local non-profit animal rescues. She loves exploring the outdoors with your dogs and makes sure every pet she cares for is happy and loved.
Nancy has been with Bloomfield Pet Care since 2017. She is an avid animal lover. She's certified in Fear- Free for Vet Professionals. She's the mama to a long coat chihuahua and Persian cat. She has a degree in medical biology. She enjoys getting to know the pets she cares for and building a relationship with them. When home, she enjoys snuggling up with her pets and reading a good book.
Emile has been with Bloomfield Pet Care since 2021. Before joining the team, she worked at a doggie day care facility for 3 years and enjoyed learning about the different dog breeds and how to care for them. Her two passions in life are music and animals. Her favorite part of the day is seeing the joy on your pets faces.
Chloe has been passionate about animals ever since she was a child. Her love for them lead her to begin seeking jobs in pet fields. She's worked at veterinarian offices and boarding facilities. She is currently attending Penn Foster to become a Veterinarian Technician. She has two cats of her own, a dog and a chameleon. She can't wait to meet you and your pets.
Caelan has been working part-time for Bloomfield Pet Care since 2017. She is a recent graduate from Michigan State University and has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. In her free time she enjoys going on walks, cooking, painting, and playing with her two cats, Violet and Prince.

Danielle started working at Bloomfield Pet Care in 2019. She has a degree in Zoology from Michigan State University and has worked at bird banding stations across the state. She is currently pursuing a degree in Veterinary Technology in an online program and hopes to work more with birds. She loves working for Bloomfield Pet Care and she can't wait to meet your furry family members!
