Meet the Pack

Here at Bloomfield Pet Care, we know how important it is to find someone you can depend on and trust. Your pets deserve the very best care which is why every pet sitter undergoes an extensive screening process which includes a background check. Our employees continue training while working for us as we encourage their skills to expand in order to provide high-quality care for your pets. Every employee is certified in pet CPR and care. They also have been certified in specific pet fields which have prepared them for any situation they may encounter with your fur-babies including wellness, using the proper equipment and emergency situations. You can view our certification badges below as well as the packs individual bios.

Pet Sitter Michigan

Meghan Jansen founded Bloomfield Pet Care in 2012. She was motivated to start a professional pet care business so that families would not have to worry about their pets or homes while they are away.  She has been a pet owner for over 35 years and has been caring for animals as a pet sitter for over 20 years. Currently, she has two dogs and two cats. She's certified as an instructor in Pet First Aid and CPR through PetTech and as a pet sitter the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS).

Rebecca has been with Bloomfield Pet Care since 2014. She's been surrounded by pets all her life, from dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, and fish to turtles, birds, lizards, and snakes. She's now the mother of an Alaskan Klee Kai named Arya. Caring for animals is her passion. Not only does she walk dogs and pet sit, her and her family also welcome your pets into their home while you're away.

She didn't have pets growing up but her husband always did and introduced her to the joys of pet parenthood. Currently, they have a border collie named Lacey. They also have three children, girl/boy twins who are 17 and a 14-year-old daughter. She enjoys getting to know so many pets and pet parents and loves being outside no matter the season.

She enjoys volunteering at animal shelters and pet sitting cats, small animals, and exotics. She's currently pursuing a degree in Veterinary Technology in an online program and hopes to work more with birds. When she's not working or studying, she enjoys reading, writing, bird watching, and cuddling with her guinea pig George. Right now, she loves working for Bloomfield Pet Care and she can't wait to meet your furry family members!

Pet Care Specialist

Sarah has been with BPC since 2014.  She grew up loving every animal she came across and would beg her parents to keep every helpless animal she found. She has a dog named Lou, a cat named Trey, a fish named Fishstick and a turtle named Tortellini. She's also a mom to two awesome boys. She considers herself very fortunate to work for Bloomfield Pet Care because she gets to do what she loves; pet, dote on and care for fur babies.
